Bacteria*, viruses... nothing kicked my fear until I discovered Copper

I was in a good place: Mark and I just had our 3rd child, with the other two in elementary school, running around playing at the playgrounds, swinging across monkey bars. Nothing could do wrong with our healthy family.
That was until our eldest Sasha, suddenly was not feeling very well. She woke up in the middle of the night screaming with red, swollen, and painful skin. It was extremely scary for our “picture perfect family”. So off to the hospital we went where she was diagnosed with MRSA. A bacterium that is difficult to treat, especially in immunocompromised patients which we just found out Sasha was immunocompromised as well.
I no longer felt in control...
I no longer felt in control, and as a mother, that is horrifying that this is happening to my one of three children I would trade my life for. As Sasha was recovering, I did my research about MRSA and other harmful Bacteria. MRSA is spread by contact. So, you could get MRSA by touching another person who has it on the skin. Or you could get it by touching objects that have the Bacteria on them. We suspect Sasha carried it in from the bottom of her shoes as she likes to jog around the neighborhood for track. It is also possible my son Scott brought it in from the sandbox. A scary thought is this bacterium getting to my newborn child, I broke down in tears thinking about it.
So, there I felt completely at a loss, if Bacteria can invade my home what can be done? After searching all around the web I found out about the amazing benefits of Copper and this “CopperFoot Mat” that was invented and created by a fellow mother who’s daughter also caught MRSA from a visit to the hospital via the bottom of her shoes. Dr. Shirin invented this “CopperFoot Mat” specifically to Kill Bacteria and Viruses on the bottom of shoes or paws entering the home in 2016. It’s also Registered and Approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Ever since putting 5 of these in my home (three for the doorways, one for the litter box and one for my daughters room) we haven’t had any bacterium related illnesses hit our family.
